The Greene County volleyball season officially kicked off on Tuesday, with the team looking to fill the gaps after graduating five seniors from last year.
The team will be led by head soach Chris Heisterkamp and assistant coaches Adrianna Vargas and Heather Patrick. Seniors on the team this year will include Graci Cooklin and Kaylee Stalder, both returning from last year with varsity experience.
Last season, the Rams had a 16 – 11 overall record, and hope to continue the winning streak this season. Tuesday’s matches will be followed by a home game against St. Edmond of Fort Dodge on Thursday.
